- Absract:
The article investigates into one of the marginal rhythmical phenomena of the Russian syllabotonic verse named reaccentuation or pereboy. This phenomenon is compared with the similar occurrences in other national traditions of syllabotonic verse (the English and the German) and is analyzed in regard to both dissyllabic meters (iamb and trochee) within the Russian poetry of the 18 th-20 thcenturies. Also, the article studies one of the stable kinds of reaccentuated meters - the meter of the Russian imitations of the Ukrainian kolomyika’s verse.
