Absract: This article examines the lyric cycle "The Land of Fire" - by the 20 th-century Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents - in the context of the poetic outlook of the Symbolism. The analysis of the cross-textual links helps the author to discover three coexistent and contrasting symbolist levels/worlds in the cycle, and to identify their axiological status.
